    Organization Todt Helmets

This photograph shows an Organization Todt (OT) member standing guard at a training facility in Germany.  Of particular interest is the M1935 helmet in use bearing the insignia of the German Army (Heer).  This clearly demonstrates that OT members were supplied with equipment drawn from German Army (Heer) channels.  The helmet bears the Armed Forces (Wehrmacht) decal on the left side.  Although hidden from view, it is likely the other side of the helmet also has the standard black, white, and red national decal also worn on early M1935 helmets.
