SA-Stabswache Insignia

Insignia Description

Helmets worn by members of the SA Headquarters Guard Units (SA-Stabswachen) were painted a medium to dark brown color. On the left side of the helmet was applied a large black mobile swastika. This insignia was hand applied or done by stencil. Evaluation of original examples do not indicate that any decal of this type was utilized on SA-Stabswache helmets.
