Stahlhelm-Werke privately manufactures museum quality helmet transfers in a variety of styles.  These decals can be purchased separately or in combination with a custom helmet restoration.  Decals are easy to apply and can be clear coated to ensure durability.  Decals have been specifically designed to hug rough texture surfaces and are superior to all other helmet decals currently sold on the open market.  These are not common or cheaply reproduced decals, but museum quality transfers.  Decals are produced in a "user friendly" format to allow individuals to customize their own helmets through the addition of high end decal transfers.

Do not settle for anything but the best.  Similar decals are now being sold by competitor brands made by people using home laser printers.  Their graphics are poor, and when good are simply copies made from the images of the decals sold here.  Do not settle for someone else's low end copy!  Stahlhelm-Werke decals are one-of-a-kind precision made decals printed on professional graphics equipment (by an established printing firm) that has supplied decal reproductions to the US Smithsonian Institution. 

While accurate in color and size to an original decal, Stahlhelm-Werke decals can be detected by knowledgeable collectors as "reproductions" and therefore should not be purchased with the intent to defraud the collector market with fake decals or helmets.

Decals are sold as singles NOT SETS and are packaged in a clear envelope with full application instructions included.

Stahlhelm-Werke dry transfer decals:

• Are identical to the original is size and color including the correct metallic color were appropriate.

• Contain all the graphic detail of an original without the silk-screened lines found on water-slides.

• Do not have to be "trimmed" or "played with" like water-slide decals.  Decals apply in three simple steps and the results are virtually fool proof.

• Are printed in multiple layers one color on top of another. Each decal will bond to any metal or plastic surface with no visible border.

• Can be lacquer coated after application to ensure the correct look and to increase durability.

Unlike other decals that are screen printed on water transfer paper, Stahlhelm-Werke decals are printed face down on clear transparent film using the latest technology. As a result, the price of Stahlhelm-Werke decals are much higher than those typically found with water slide reproductions.
